Teresa Espaniola grew up in a world full of artists. Both of her parents were creative and kept her busy with art projects. Her grandmother, aunts, cousins and sisters also encouraged her, painting and drawing with her from a very young age.

With a degree in graphic design, Teresa uses her artistic eye to create custom designs for print and web. She has taught private students watercolor painting and has been an art teacher for a private school in Hawaii. Teresa has worked with young children in the after- school arts and crafts program for the Colorado Public School System. She has done volunteer work in the arts and crafts program for young adults with brain and spinal injuries for Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She currently volunteers with the local library in the teen arts program and finds ways to work with schools.

Teresa's two children practically grew up on the beaches of Hawaii where they learned to swim, surf and dive with their mother, even playing hookey from school on those high surf days. The ocean has been a significant influence in their lives.

Teresa paints in acrylic and watercolor. Her artwork has been featured in showings in Hawaii, Colorado and California. Her paintings hang in homes in Hawaii, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, India, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand and Fiji. She currently lives in Southern California with her husband, Frederick. He is her biggest fan.
