This painting was inspired by the shoreline near the village of Lavena on the island of Taveuni in the Fijian Island chain. This lovely location in Fiji is considered by the artist as one of the most beautiful places on the planet. It is there that she finds many lovely seashells to add to her collection. They remind her of sunny warm days walking the Lavena shore, watching a lonely coconut floating in the shallow water.
